Year 2010 Chinese New Year really was a Hot and Busy year for me. From Eve till Day 8 not even have nap time.
CNY Eve
Help Mom-in-Law prepare for reunion lunch. Accompany hubby to Jusco for his last minute shopping.
CNY Day 1
After lunch at home, we went to MIL's eldest brother house. All MIL's family member will gather together and ex-change Ang Pao.
After that rush to the cinema for 7pm movie. Who knows Jonas not allowed to go in. We tried to ex-change other movie, but the timing not match. We get back the money.
After having dinner, went back to MIL's brother's house to fetch her. We visited them till midnight. Then only went back home. Pity Jonas didn't enough rest.
CNY Day 2
I was very happy because I can went back to my parents house to celebrate CNY with them.
As usual, my family member and grandma and all the aunties uncles went to Grandpa's eldest brother's house. We all gather in the small flat. Not even have space to sit and stand. Some was stand in the corridoor. But we still very happy. Every year was the same, they cooked Hakka Lui Cha for our lunch. But I didn't like it. Jonas likes it very much.
After lunch, others having their own programme. We went to the Kuan Yin Temple for praying.
Due on the day was 'broken day'. so the Master didn't do anything for us.
After that we went back to parent's house for the dinner. At night fetch MIL from her brother's house again. Then only finish our programme.
CNY Day 3
As discussed before with hubby, i want to go to Sunway Lagoon. I though i can ran away to visit MIL's eldest sister house. But still cannot.
Late morning fetch MIL there, after had the lunch there. We went to Sunway Lagoon.
The weather was very good. Jonas was so exited because he can playing water again. He had long long time never go to the swimming pool.
In the evening, we pack everything and went back to fetch MIL again.
After having dinner together , then went back.
CNY Day 4
We woke up lately. 11am only rush to the immigration to do the passport. It's our bad luck. The numbers were finished distribute due on too many people. We went back and coming the next day.
We went to Kuan Yin Temple for praying again.
Evening, Hubby's uncle from Kuantan visited us. We had dinner together.
Today we woke up more earlier, 7am to go to Immigration again. Same with the day before, it was pack of people. We que up for 3 hours to get the number.
Luckily the immigration was nearby my mom's house. While waiting to collect the passport, we can went to my mom's house to rest for a while.
We spent one while day there.
At first, we planned to go to genting with SIL afternoon. They returned back because the traffic stuffed on the way to the hill. Luckily we canceled it.
CNY Day 6
Hubby started work and I still taking leave.
I met with my schoolmate + collegemates afternoon and visited my ex-colleague at night.
CNY Day 7
Morning bring MIL to visit clinic. Received a call from sister ask me go Genting Highland. His BF booked a apartment.
My sister fetch me to Genting Highlands in the evening. Because have one more room space, so asked SIL came together. After hubby finished his work, they came and joined us at night.
After settle Jonas sleep at night. Hubby and I went to gambler at 3am. Our luck was not bad. Won little for our pocket money.
CNY Day 8
After checked-out. We brought Jonas to First Word to play indoor game. Evening, went back from Genting.
After having dinner, went back home to prepare our Tien Gong Celebration.
I told hubby that Jonas wanted a rest, so I didn't accompany him to go to his father's eldest brother house. I took this opportunity to nap with Jonas.
